LockLoid is a web lookup for Snapchat. Give it one username and it shows that account's Best Friends ranking, the people it snaps most, its My Eyes Only memories and its snap score, on one screen.

1Where the list went

Snapchat used to show a Best Friends list on every profile, so anyone in your contacts could see who you snapped with most. In April 2015 it took that list down and replaced it with Friend Emojis, which only the account owner sees next to their own chats.[1] Since then, the ranking has stayed private to each account.

2What a lookup shows

The ranking comes first: who holds the top spot and who follows, in order. Under it sit the connections behind each spot, meaning the people the account snaps with most. The same lookup also opens the account's My Eyes Only memories and its snap score.

3The good and the limits

Limits

  • The ranking shifts as people snap, so a lookup shows the list as it stands today.
  • It needs the exact username. A typo gives you somebody else, or no one.
  • LockLoid is a separate site, so nothing about it lives inside the Snapchat app.

Good

  • One username is all you type. No login of yours is needed.
  • It runs in the browser, so there's no app to put on your phone.
  • The whole ranking sits in one view, top spot first.
